Dr. Farrell started in private practice in San Francisco in 1994 after completing his training.  He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco Medical School in 1988 and then went on to complete his Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Zion Medical Center in San Francisco.  He subsequently completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.  Dr. Farrell is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.  You can view Dr. Farrell's curriculum vitae (résumé).

Dr. Farrell evaluates and manages all aspects of gastroenterology including performing endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Farrell is married and has three daughters.  His interests include cycling, running, and snowboarding.
