Office Examination
Dr. Farrell offers in-office consultations for the full array of gastrointestinal issues.  Smitha Vuyyuru PA-C, is a Physician's Assistant who also is available for in-office consultations.  Office consultations are offered by appointment only at our main office on Geary Blvd. 

Endoscopy
Dr. Farrell performs endoscopy (upper endoscopy). 

Colonoscopy
Dr. Farrell performs colonoscopy (lower endoscopy).

Capsule Endoscopy
Dr. Farrell performs capsule endoscopy.  Capsule endoscopy is a new technology that allows one to evaluate the small intestine using a pill-sized video camera.

Vaccinations & Injections
Vaccinations for hepatitis A and hepatitis B are offered in the office.  Vitamin B12 shots are also offered in the office.  Dr. Farrell does not provide flu (influenza) shots.

Breath Tests
Breath tests to diagnose lactose intolerance and bacterial overgrowth are offered in the office.

Radiology and Laboratory Tests
These tests are not performed by Dr. Farrell.  Radiology tests (such as x-rays and CT scans) are performed at radiology facilities.  Laboratory tests (blood and stools tests) are performed at outside laboratory facilities.  Radiology and Laboratory facilities are located near Dr. Farrell's office and throughout San Francisco.
